Winston is a musical theatre composer, performer, and business manager whose career spans both the creative and commercial worlds.
His love for musicals began at the age of 13, when he played Gavroche in Les Misérables and the Artful Dodger in Oliver!, both in London’s West End. He later became the voice of “Pop” in the classic Kellogg’s Rice Krispies adverts.
As a composer, Winston has written original music and songs for several stage productions. Highlights include Mario! A Super Musical, created with Jim Burrows as part of “Burrows & Eade”, which earned 5-star reviews at the Union Theatre in London.
He is currently developing and adapting a well-known film for the stage, working with Universal and Working Title. He also provided the music for “Lilac Shirt” from Shadow Puppets, with lyrics by Nikki Racklin and performed by Sophie-Louise Dann, and wrote the music for Blodwen, with lyrics by Emily Davis, for her 2026 UK tour. His Christmas song “The Two of Us at Christmas”, with lyrics by Jim Burrows, was featured in Leading Voices LDN’s Fresh off the Score at the Union Theatre, London. He also co-wrote “No Interval Show” with Neil Bastian, which was featured in the Leading Voices LDN Summer Concert, also at the Union Theatre.
Winston is an advanced member of Book, Music & Lyrics London, a professional development programme for musical theatre composers, lyricists and librettists. BML offers collaborative workshops led by established professionals, providing a practical and structured environment to nurture craft skills and encourage collaboration.
As a performer, Winston fronts the pop, funk, rock and soul band The Congakeyz, leading with vocals and keyboards.
On the business side, he manages a portfolio of brands through Eade Pro Ltd for the Commaxx Group, including the iconic audio brand Lenco. He also oversees an international distributor network across the UK, APAC and the Middle East, working with major UK clients including Currys, HMV, Argos, Amazon and Costco.
