Winston is a musical theatre composer, performer, producer, and business manager whose career spans both the creative and commercial worlds.
His love for musicals began at 13, when he played Gavroche in Les Misérables and the Artful Dodger in Oliver!, both in London’s West End. He later became the voice of “Pop” in the classic Kellogg’s Rice Krispies adverts.
As a composer, he has written original music and songs for several stage productions. Highlights include Mario! A Super Musical, created with Jim Burrows as part of Burrows & Eade, which earned 5-star reviews at the Union Theatre in London. The show has since been developed as a new parody musical under the title Let’s-a Go! A Super Musical Parody.
He is currently developing and adapting a well-known film for the stage, working with Universal and Working Title. He provided music for Lilac Shirt from Shadow Puppets, with lyrics by Nikki Racklin, performed by Sophie-Louise Dann. He has also written music for Blodwen, with lyrics by Emily Davis, for her 2026 UK tour.
His Christmas song The Two of Us at Christmas, with lyrics by Jim Burrows, was featured in Leading Voices LDN’s Fresh Off the Score concert at the Union Theatre, London. He also wrote No Interval Show with Neil Bastian, which was featured in the Leading Voices LDN summer concert, also at the Union Theatre.
As a performer, Winston fronts the pop, funk, rock, and soul band The Congakeyz, leading with vocals and keyboards.
As a pianist he also plays for weddings, corporate functions,
and events.
Regular venues include The Hogs Back Spa, Cowdray House,
Aviator Farnborough, Heckfield Place, Four seasons Hotel,
Warbrook House, The Elvetham, and Penny Hill Park.
